Our Base
The current Institute director is Dr. Mary Tschirhart, a professor tenured within the Public Administration department in the School of Public and International Affairs of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. An Academic Council, chaired by Dr. Jessica Jameson, advises the Institute, and an External Advisory Board is under development. Our financial support comes from gifts, grants, fees, course revenues, and NC State University units. Historically, our support has provided the primary funding for operations and programs. The Institute is currently located near the main NC State campus with plans to move in 2012 to the Hunt Library being built on the Centennial Campus.
