Volunteer Services/Office Intern
The Volunteer Services department is responsible for recruiting and retaining a corps of volunteers that is vital to the operations of Urban Ministries. This individual will support Volunteer Services with database management and special projects. In return, Urban Ministries of Wake County will provide an opportunity for the intern to gain valuable, real work experience with volunteer management, day-to-day activities, and project activities of a nonprofit organization.

-Responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
-Input new volunteers into volunteer database
-Assist with creation of volunteer recruitment marketing materials
-Create and run various reports on volunteerism by program area
-Ability to communicate via email, phone and in person to current and potential volunteers
-Administrative support including being the front desk greeter
