Internship Description:

This individual will support fundraising initiatives through relationship development with groups including, but not limited to: civic groups, congregations, and food drive donors.  Duties also include an emphasis on data entry and analysis, as well as event planning and marketing activities, particularly where it applies to community outreach. Candidates must be comfortable in Excel.

Business Development and Administration, Data Analysis, and Event Planning

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Research and track opportunities for community engagement
-Administrative support including database updates, mailings, and special projects as needed
-Support the execution and marketing of fundraising events; including vendor management, social media content, and media advisories.

Development & Marketing Intern schedule shifts are flexible between the hours of Monday–Friday from 9–5 pm. Please include any availability in your cover letter and you will be assigned 2-3 regular shifts per week in your offer email.

Personal transportation (we are not directly on a bus line).  If selected, applicant must complete a separate application and attend mandatory Internship Orientation on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 1-3pm.

All applicants need to be:
-Proficient with Microsoft Office
-Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
-Outgoing and enthusiastic team player able to work independently and with a team
-Able to research and analyze data and effectively summarize information
-Posse clear written and verbal communication skills
